The Flexx Handlebar DH

Now built on a 35mm clamp diameter, the all alloy Flexx DH isolates your upper body from abuse and vibration, allowing you to ride longer and charge harder. Flexx Handlebars are tunable to your preferences, you control how soft or stiff the bar is.

Flexx Handlebars are precise in the steering path yet forgiving in the load path, yielding uncompromised control and abuse reduction. Flexx Handlebars provide the feedback of a traditional bar while taking the edge off of the abuse.

Made in the USA and built from 7075 aluminum, the pivot point is the back bone of our design and philosophy, providing rigidity to channel the abuse through the elastomers. Titanium pivot pins and hardware mate the components together and retain the elastomers.

Recommended Elastomer Combinations:

BLUE: XC/Gravel, youth, lightweight riders, 140lbs or less

YELLOW: XC/Trail/mild Enduro, 140-165lbs 

RED: Enduro/DH, 150lbs-220lbs, most popular set up

BLACK: DH 190lbs +

- A properly tuned Flexx Handlebar should feel natural while riding, absorbing small bumps, chatter and other trail terrain that tends to make your hands and upper body more fatigued. Any diving sensation, bottoming out or "that doesn't feel right" is an indication your set up is too soft.

Best Bars -- Hands down! :)

This is probably my 10th set of Flexx Bars. I have some bad wrists and my time on a mountain bike was limited by how long I could hang on and ride safely on gravity trails. Before my 1st Flexx bars, it was a MAX of 4 hours a day and I had to take off a week at least. Since riding with my Flexx bars, I'm a solid 6 hours, and there is no limit to how many days in a row I can ride because of my wrists. Absolutely a game changer for me.

Aside from having multiple bikes myself, the ones I borrow to friends/family (that they eventually buy) all go with the Flexx bars because they won't go back to traditional bars after spending a day or two riding with these. I feel like I missed 10 years of good riding because I didn't know these bars existed.

My advice -- get a set, DO NOT WAIT. Once you do, you will be hooked. Grip strength and wrist pain, hand numbness --- all improved with these bars drastically for me.

100% recommend 100% of the time in 100% of situations. Even without bad wrists you will find these to be the most comfortable bars you can have if you like gravity and have weight on your bars.

Vibration assistance

I have Fasstflex bars on all my bikes now. Four mtb and two dirt bikes. Ridiculous and unnecessary right?
No, I have these because they are that beneficial. I receive nothing for this review. I am just a firm believer in the bars. They absorb quite a bit of the braking bumps and small chatter you experience out there in the dirt and when hitting G-outs or harder impacts they do not flex too much to make it awkward. They also come with three densities of rubber compounds to adjust to any specific rider’s needs.
I’m an older guy so it really helps me with fatigue and numbness in my hands. These bars allow me to continue enjoying myself out there and I would recommend to anyone

THE FLEXX DH HANDLEBAR IS A WONDERFUL ITEM, IT HELPS A LOT TO AVOID THE ARM PUMP AND IS QUITE COMFORTABLE ON ANY TYPE OF TERRAIN, THE MANEUVERABILITY ON DESCENTS IS INCREDIBLE THANKS TO ITS DIMENSIONS AND THE CUSHIONING OF ITS ELASTOMERS IS QUITE COMFORTABLE.

It just works.

I have tried the carbon bars such as the Oneup that are supposed to absorb vibrations and reduce arm/hand fatigue and I must say that there no comparison in the damping you get with the Flexx handlebar compared to standard carbon bars. The Flexx bar drastically reduces the effect of brake bumps and allow me to loop the chair non-stop for hours.

I quickly got used to the flex in the bar, which does not impair the ride quality in any way. The only drawback I can see is the weight of the bar itself ~600g.

I had a cosmetic issue with a bar and I can attest that the FASST company customer service is simply the best one I have ever encountered. They were super responsive and solve my issue in no time. I see lots of company that advertise themselves as having no BS warranties... until you have a problem. The team at FASST truly care about their customer service.

Just get one, it works.
